SAP supports DEBS with a travel fund that is meant to support the attendance at the conference. Applicants can obtain a grant of roughly 500€ covering partially cost for conference registration and travel.

The selection criteria depend on

the need of the person, e.g. the institutions has limited capacity of supporting their Ph.D. students and staff members

the excellence of the person

relevance of the academic track to the topics of the conference

contribution to the conference

For application, please send a short letter/email (no longer than 1 page) to the general chairs introducing:

the reason and need for applying for the travel funding

indicating the research interest in DEBS 2019

indicating whether the person has an accepted contribution at DEBS 2019 Please, also attach a CV

As the travel funds is limited, applications are ideally submitted ahead of May 15th.
